Role at Marsh
Paula was appointed President of Marsh Brazil in June 2024. In her role, she is responsible for executing key strategic initiatives and developing important customer relationships, collaborating closely with Marsh's executive committee to facilitate market entry and accelerate revenue growth in a sustainable and cooperative manner. Her focus is on five main drivers: being customer-centric, having a growth mindset, being future-ready, encouraging bold conversations, and prioritizing our people.
Experiences / Specialization
Paula has 28 years of experience in the insurance industry. She joined Marsh in 2008, having previously worked at insurance companies such as Allianz, Mapfre, and Itaú Seguros. Before her appointment as President of Marsh Brazil, Paula held two positions at Marsh LAC for four years. One was as Placement Leader, and the most recent, from 2021 to 2024, was as Marsh Specialty Leader.
Education and Credentials
Paula holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from FIA. Paula supports women's empowerment causes and is a director of AMMS (Association of Women in the Insurance Market/Brazil). She is a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.
