He entered the insurance market in 1985 as an insurance agent. He has been an entrepreneur/insurance broker since 1989;
he is the President of the National Federation of Insurance, Capitalization and Private Pension Brokers and Brokerage Companies – FENACOR.
He is a Director of the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism – CNC.
He was Superintendent of SUSEP – Superintendence of Private Insurance of Brazil from 2007 to 2010.
He was also President of the School of Business and Insurance – ENS, of SINCOR-GO, of Sicoob/Credseguro and of COREMEC – Regulatory Council of the Financial, Capital and Insurance, Pension and Capitalization Markets.
He also served as a Federal Deputy for the state of Goiás (legislature 2011 to 2015).
In Goiás, he was Secretary of State for 4 portfolios: Government and Institutional Affairs; He served as Secretary of Cities; Minister of Labor; and Minister of Social Security and Welfare. In the Federal District, he was Secretary of State for Development of the region surrounding the Federal District.
Currently, he is Secretary of State for Institutional Relations in Goiás.
