Nelma Tavares
Nelma Tavares holds a degree in Economics from UFF, with a specialization in Business Management. She built a solid 30-year career at CAIXA, where she reached the position of Regional Superintendent in Rio de Janeiro. She also headed the Planning Department at INVEPAR.
Today, as CEO of CAIXA Capitalização, Nelma is leading a trajectory of growth and impact. Under her leadership, the company has broken records: it reached R$1 million in sales in a single day and tripled the value of prizes paid to clients. More than just numbers, her management has positioned CAIXA CAP as a signatory to global commitments, such as the UN Global Compact and the Pact for the Promotion of Racial Equity, in addition to boosting ESG initiatives, expanding the number of supported sustainability projects from 6 to 20.
