
Paulo Sérgio Kakinoff has been the CEO of Grupo Porto since January 2024. With a degree in Business Administration from Mackenzie University, he began his career in the automotive industry, where he worked for 18 years. He was president of Audi Brazil , held the positions of Sales & Marketing Director at Volkswagen do Brasil , Executive Director for South America at the Volkswagen Group headquarters in Germany, and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Volkswagen Participações .
He also held the position of Chief Executive Officer of GOL Linhas Aéreas from 2012 to 2022, having previously been an independent member of the airline's Board of Directors for two years and, subsequently, for one year.
He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Vamos Locação de Caminhões, Máquinas e Equipamentos , Simpar SA, Suzano Papel e Celulose , MRV&Co, and Cocal Energia Sustentável . He also serves on the Human Resources and Corporate Governance, Compensation, Finance, Strategy, and Marketing Committees.
The executive is also a member of the Governance Council and the Board of Directors of the non-profit organizations Todos pela Educação, MBC (Movimento Brasil Competitivo), Bemtevi (social businesses ), Instituto Inhotim (association for cultural, educational and environmental purposes), is president of the Instituto Pacto pelo Esporte and master professor of the Business Administration course at ESPM .
