Fernando Assis Fraguas
Fernando Assis Fraguasis an experienced market executive with over 42 years of experience in the sector. A graduate in Business Administration from UNA BH, he began his career at Bamerindus Seguros, where he worked from 1983 to 1995, building a solid and upwardly mobile career: he started as an agent, was promoted to coordinator of the bank channel in 1985, and in 1989 assumed the commercial management of the Minas Gerais branch, being responsible for the implementation of the broker channel and the health insurance product. In 1994, he became the regional manager of the Rio de Janeiro branch, covering the area from Rio to Fortaleza, serving bank, broker, and large account channels.
In 1995, he founded Coneccta Virtuale, the first insurance consultancy in Paraná, focusing exclusively on Bamerindus, and which, after its acquisition by HSBC, expanded its operations with the founding of Coneccta Ltda, becoming one of HSBC's largest service providers during its operation in Brazil.
Still at the helm of Coneccta, she leads BPO projects for the insurance market, serving the entire segment. With a strategic and in-depth vision of the sector, she combines executive experience, operational innovation, and a keen eye on market transformations.
