EDUARD FOLCH
Eduard Folch, a Spaniard, holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Actuarial Science from the University of Barcelona. He has been president of Allianz Brazil since January 2018. With over 30 years of experience in the insurance market, he began his career at an English insurance company and, since 1998, has been a member of executive committees, actively participating in five M&As. In 2017, already with extensive experience in Latin America, Folch served as Head of Underwriting in Spain, where he contributed to defining auto insurance rates in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Portugal. This work culminated in an invitation to assume the position of CEO of Allianz Seguros in Brazil. Under his leadership, the acquisition of SulAmérica's Auto and Mass Market operations by Allianz in 2019 stands out.
