His mission is to lead the turnaround of the leading company in Brazil in health benefits administration. To be fit for this responsibility, he has built his entire career in the supplementary health market, working in various institutions.
Before joining Qualicorp, Lopes was executive vice president of Rede D'Or São Luiz SA. He also held the position of vice president of Health and Dental at SulAmérica from 2013 to 2019, where he previously served as technical director between 2011 and 2013. Between 2000 and 2011, he held leadership positions in several companies in the sector, including executive director at Allianz Saúde, technical and product director at Medial Saúde, executive manager at Unimed-Rio, and general economic manager at the National Supplementary Health Agency (ANS). In addition, he was vice president of the National Federation of Supplementary Health (Fenasaúde). Lopes holds a degree in Economics from the University of Brasília and the University of Greenwich, as well as a master's degree in Actuarial Science from City University of London and a master's degree in Economics from the University of London
