Marcelo Tomei
Marcelo Tomei joined MetLife in 2015 and, in 2018, was appointed Director of Bancassurance/DM for Brazil, becoming Vice President in 2023. In January 2025, he became Head of XCelerator Brazil and Gig Growth LatAm. He has 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry and has worked for companies such as GE, American Express, and Bradesco.
With extensive knowledge of the insurance industry, Marcelo has experience in products, operations, marketing, strategic planning, distribution, and partnerships across various segments and channels.
Marcelo holds a degree in Economics from PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo) and an MBA in Marketing from FIA-USP (Foundation Institute of Administration – University of São Paulo).
