Ivan Gontijo
Born in Rio de Janeiro on October 8, 1958, he graduated in Law from the Catholic University of Petrópolis, and was a professor of Commercial Law at the Catholic University of Petrópolis and of Insurance Law at the Cândido Mendes Law School.
He has worked in the insurance market for 37 years, having joined the Bradesco Seguros Group in 1985. In 1998 he was elected Legal Director of the Insurance Group. He currently holds the position of CEO of Bradseg Participações SA, Bradesco Seguros SA, Bradseg Promotora de Vendas SA, Bradesco SegPrev Investimentos Ltda., and BSP Affinity Ltda.
He is a full member of the Board of Directors of Bradesco Vida e Previdência SA, Bradesco Capitalização SA, Bradesco Auto/RE Companhia de Seguros, Bradesco Saúde SA, BSP Empreendimentos Imobiliários SA, BSP Park Estacionamentos e Participações SA, Odontoprev SA, Fleury SA, and Companhia Brasileira de Gestão de Serviços, where he is also a member of the Nomination, Succession, and Remuneration Committee. He serves as 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors and a member of the Management Council of the National Confederation of Insurance Companies – CNSEG, and as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Insurance Companies – FENASEG.
