A licensed lawyer in Brazil with a master's degree and experience as a foreign associate in the United States. He is a specialist and leading expert in the areas of insurance, reinsurance, health, financial services, and mergers and acquisitions. He has advised local and foreign players in these sectors in Brazil for over 20 years on regulatory and corporate matters, especially in the area of transactions, including M&A operations (global, regional, and local), joint ventures, bancassurance agreements and distribution of insurance/other insurance products, purchase and sale of insurance portfolios, incorporation of insurance companies, SSPEs and local reinsurers, and issuance of insurance risk letters, as well as all types of corporate reorganizations. He has led and participated in the largest operations of this nature in Brazil in the last two decades. He has written numerous articles and publications on insurance and reinsurance law in Brazil and abroad.
