Fábio Ursaia is the Executive Vice President responsible for the Risk vertical at Alper Insurance Brokerage. His management encompasses the areas of Large Risks, Asset Management, Captives, General Insurance (Retail), and Reinsurance, leading the integration of the Corporate, Agro, Reinsurance, Specialties, and Captives units. He focuses on creating operational synergies, strengthening commercial governance, and generating sustainable value. He also leads the fronts of new business development and national expansion, both organically and through acquisitions, with an emphasis on technical, managerial, and financial performance.
With over 25 years of market experience, Fábio has built a solid career in the insurance, financial services, distribution channels, and technology sectors. He was CEO of Telefônica Corretora de Seguros (Vivo) and held executive positions in organizations such as AIG, AON, MetLife, and Citibank. Founder of the healthtech company Doutor Direto, he has a strong track record in M&A projects, innovation, venture building, affinity programs, and strategic risk management—with recognized expertise in regulated and highly complex environments.
He holds a law degree from Paulista University, an MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and international executive training in New Zealand. He teaches postgraduate courses at FGV, UNIP, and Americas International Business School in the areas of strategy, innovation, and project management.
