Carlos Roberto Alves de Queiroz is a Director at SUSEP (Superintendence of Private Insurance), currently responsible for prudential supervision and the regulation and supervision of mass-market products. A graduate of USP (University of São Paulo) in Economics and Law, he has been a federal public servant for over 20 years, with experience at INSS (National Institute of Social Security) and the TRT (Regional Labor Court) of the 2nd Region. He has held several important positions at SUSEP, including a stint as Director of Prudential Supervision. He also served as Interim Superintendent of SUSEP between January and April of 2023. He is a member of COREMEC (Committee for Regulation and Supervision of Financial, Capital, Insurance, Pension and Capitalization Markets) and the Board of Trustees of the Salary Variation Compensation Fund (CCFCVS). He was a member of the Insurance Law Commission of the OAB/SP (São Paulo Bar Association).
