
Carlos Roberto Alves de Queiroz is a Director of Susep, currently responsible for prudential supervision and the regulation and supervision of mass-market products. A graduate of the University of São Paulo (USP) in Economics and Law, he has been a federal public servant for over 20 years, with experience at the INSS (National Institute of Social Security) and the Regional Labor Court of the 2nd Region. He has held several important positions at Susep, including another stint at the Prudential Supervision Directorate. He also served as Interim Superintendent of Susep from January to April 2023. He is a member of Coremec (the Committee for Regulation and Oversight of the Financial, Capital, Insurance, Pension, and Capitalization Markets) and the Board of Trustees of the Wage Variation Compensation Fund (CCFCVS). He was a member of the Insurance Law Committee of the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB/SP).
