Jonathan Kalman is a private markets investor with over 25 years of expertise in the insurance industry. He is the Managing Partner of Jaguar Capital Partners, an investment firm focused on the next wave of extraordinary entrepreneurs and management teams seeking to reimagine and reinvent the global insurance industry.

Previously, he served as a consultant for The Institutes, assisting in the development of a Chartered Insurance Investment Manager (“CIIM”) certificate. This newly created certificate is being developed in partnership with InsuranceAUM, where Mr. Kalman also served as a consultant.

Previously, Mr. Kalman was managing partner of Katalyst Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm, and also chairman of the board of Katalyst Securities LLC, an investment bank specializing in private equity and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Kalman holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Cornell University. Mr. Kalman also graduated from the Investment Director certification program at Columbia Business School.

A longtime YPO member, Mr. Kalman served as chairman of the YPO Philadelphia board. Besides his family, Mr. Kalman's true passion is cooking, and he's always looking to share a great meal.
